Harpy Gal

A design for Pixars Monsters University competition. I wanted to go with something that hadn't been done before in the films and also had some origin to human mythology and a window as to where the magnificent creatures in our ancient myths could have come from.

I decided on a harpy and used reference from the secretary bird to devise her anatomy. my favourite part of this image is the arm feathers although I doubt she could fly with the size of them
